You may have noticed a dead tree leaning over the pathway along Strawberry Lake Way between Lamoka Drive and Killarney Terrace. The Board voted last week to remove this hazard and the tree itself was removed by contractors yesterday.
The board also wants to note that repairs to the fencing around the three townhouse retention ponds have been completed. Some of the posts and rails had been damaged by storms and animals.
The board plans to review options to replace this wood fencing with metal fencing at some point in the future, similar to the new metal fencing surrounding the retention ponds near the single-family homes. While the county is responsible for repairing/replacing the fencing around the seven retention ponds near the single-family homes, the HOA is responsible for the three retention ponds near the townhouses.
